Job summary

Jcbl in Delhi invites an Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate embedded hardware and software on microcontroller-based systems.

You will work with ARM/STM32/ESP32 platforms, implement protocols, debug with JTAG/SWD, and collaborate across Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Quality, and R&D teams.

The role requires strong C/C++, RTOS, embedded Linux knowledge, and a problem-solving mindset; minimum BE/BTech in relevant field.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communications or Electrical.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers/microprocessors.
• Familiarity with RTOS and embedded Linux is an advantage.
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-485, USB, Ethernet.
• Debugging skills with JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscope, and Logic Analyzers.
• Knowledge of Git for version control.
• Schematic reading and PCB-level troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded systems and firmware for electronic products and applications.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded software using C/C++ and other relevant languages.
• Work with microcontrollers and microprocessors such as ARM, STM32, AVR, PIC, ESP32, or equivalent platforms.
• Develop and integrate communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-485, USB, Ethernet.
• Interface and integrate sensors, actuators, displays, motors, and other electronic components.
• Perform hardware and software debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Support PCB design, board bring-up, testing, and validation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, design documents, and user manuals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Quality, and R&D teams.
• Conduct prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Support product integration and field testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, reliability, and safety standards.

1.0 JOB SUMMARY

The Embedded Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, programming, testing, and integration of embedded hardware and software systems. The role involves working on microcontroller/microprocessor-based systems and supporting the development of reliable electronic solutions for the company's products and projects.

2.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Good understanding of embedded hardware architecture and electronics.
• Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and RS-485.
• Knowledge of RTOS and embedded Linux will be an added advantage.
• Experience in debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, etc.
• Understanding of schematic reading and PCB-level troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
