Job summary

Globals Ites seeks an Embedded Security Engineer to assess and enhance the security of embedded firmware, storage, and communication interfaces across devices running Embedded Linux and RTOS, with exposure to drone and UAV platforms.

You will perform firmware extraction, debugging, and low-level memory analysis, leveraging C/C++, Python, and hands-on hardware-software integration. Strong tooling experience is required for a security-focused role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded software development.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux distributions (e.g., Yocto, Buildroot).
• Proven experience in board bring-up and hardware-software integration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel driver development and debugging.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, sockets programming).
• Experience in firmware development for microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, AVR).
• Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
• Knowledge of wireless protocols (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
