Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Pune is seeking an Embedded Linux Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop and maintain embedded Linux applications on custom hardware using C++.

You will build and customize Linux distributions with Yocto, integrate industrial protocols like Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet and REST APIs, enable MQTT cloud connectivity, and perform bring-up, debugging and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Embedded Linux experience with Yocto on embedded hardware.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and system-level programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux applications on custom hardware using C++.

Job Title: Embedded Linux Developer

Experience: 5+ years

Location: Pune

Looking for a Embedded Linux Developer with the below responsibilities,

• Design, develop, and maintain Embedded Linux applications using C++ on custom hardware platforms
• Build and customize Linux distributions using Yocto for embedded devices
• Integrate and debug industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet, REST APIs
• Implement cloud and IoT connectivity using MQTT and related frameworks
• Perform system bring-up, driver interaction, debugging, and performance optimization on embedded hardware
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable embedded solutions

Must Have

• Overall 6+ years of experience in Embedded Linux, Yocto, C++. Working project experience on embedded Linux hardwares.
• Understanding of any Industrial protocols like Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet, REST API, Cloud connectivity(IoT, MQTT)

Nice to Have

Good Experience in Microservice development(EdgeX).
