Job summary

BMW TechWorks India Private Limited seeks an Embedded C++ engineer with a background in Computer Science or Electronics. You will work on C++ development for embedded platforms, including understanding OOP design, interfaces, and mocks, and will engage with unit testing and software documentation.

Exposure to CAN/Ethernet and AUTOSAR/middleware is noted. A/B tech stack includes Git, VS Code, WSL, and Docker; Bazel build systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent.
• Must have experience in programming with C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17).
• C++ proficiency for understanding, OOPS, domain component behaviour, interfaces, and stubs/mocks.
• Basics knowledge of embedded software development.
• Basic knowledge of embedded devices and microcontroller architectures.
• Basics knowledge of unit testing.
• Basics knowledge of software design using UML.
• Must have experience in code and software documentation.
• Exposure to software development tools & frameworks such as Git, VS-Code, WSL, Docker.
• Willingness to debug and test software on the hardware.
• Knowledge of OSI Model with basics of CAN and Ethernet.
• Strong qualities such as teamwork, accountability, self-organization, and proactivity are essential.
• Basic understanding of OS Concepts.
• Build system experience, ideally Bazel.
• AUTOSAR or middleware integration exposure.
