Position Title: Email & Automations Campaign Specialist

Position Summary
The Email & Automations Campaign Specialistsupports the establishment, growth, and long-term sustainability of UNSWBengaluru by delivering high-quality marketing communication automations(email and push)to drives future student awareness, engagement, conversion andenrolments. The role plays a critical operational function in buildingscalable, data-informed email marketing, campaign management and marketingautomation capability for a newly established internationalcampus operating within UNSW’s global brand, governance, and digitalstandards.
Operating within the campus marketing and recruitmentfunction, the role focuses on planning, delivering,and optimising email and other digital campaigns that support futurestudent recruitment and digital experience objectives in the Indianmarket. The position balances strong local execution in Bengaluru withalignment to UNSW enterprise platforms, tools, and performance frameworks.
Accountabilities
Digital Marketing communications
- Ownand deliver local email and digital communication campaigns that deliveron awareness, consideration, conversion and enrolment outcomes thatcontribute to future student recruitment and enrolmentgrowth objectives.
- Contributeto the establishment of scalable marketing automation practices suitablefor a growing international campus.
- Create,edit, and manage lead and applicant nurtures, email and digital engagementtouchpoints. Orchestrating seamless journeys thar drive future students toaction.
- Collaboratewith marketing, web, and digital teams to optimise marketingcommunications for improved user experience and funnel conversion.
- Ensure allemail content is accurate, audience-focused,culturally appropriate, and aligned with UNSW brand guidelines.
Performance, Insights & Reporting
- Monitorand report on email and digital communication performance against agreedmetrics, identifying trends, risks,and optimisation opportunities.
- Usedata and insights to continuously improve content effectiveness andcontribution to recruitment outcomes.
- Supportevidence-based decision-making through clearand timely reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Workclosely with recruitment, faculty, and marketing stakeholders to alignmessaging, priorities, and delivery timelines.
- SupportMarketing Leads and campus stakeholders in delivering integratedgo-to-market activities.
- Contributepositively to a collaborative, customer-focused campus marketing team.

- Operate within UNSWSydney’s global brand governance model, ensuring all activity is alignedwith defined Playbooks, with appropriate approvals and compliance todefined frameworks and processes.

Skills & Experience
- Relevanttertiary qualification with experience in email marketing, SEO, or digitalmarketing, or equivalent competence gained through education, training, orexperience.
- Demonstratedexperience leading integrated marketing programs with accountability forengagement and reputational outcomes.
- Strongcapability in campaign development, strategy, and agency management.
- Strong organisational skillswith the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborateacross diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experiencein higher education, public sector, or similarly regulated environments.
- Experienceworking in or with international or emerging markets, particularly India.
- Familiaritywith enterprise digital marketing platforms
- Experienceworking within large, matrixed organisations.
