Job summary

Embitel Technologies in India is seeking a software engineer to contribute to GUI development using React.js/Next.js, web interfaces, and RESTful services.

You will engage with open-source middleware, libraries, and drivers, and apply your understanding of the full SDLC from architecture to testing. Experience with C/C++ or Python is a plus, and the role combines collaboration and growth within a VW-backed, engineering-led GCC Plus environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building GUIs with React.js/Next.js.
• Experience with integration and testing of open-source middleware, libraries, and drivers.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (architecture, implementation, testing).
• Added advantage if C/C++ or Python programming language knowledge is available.

Job Description

Core Skills:

• Experience developing GUIs, preferably using React.js/Next.js, Web, REST etc
• Experience with the integration and testing of open-source middleware, libraries, and drivers.
• A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, including Architecture, Implementation, and Testing fundamentals.
• Added advantage if C/C++ or Python Programming Language knowledge is available

Good to have Skills:

• Experience with code version control and review tools/processes like Perforce, Git, or Swarm.
• Familiarity with automation and DevOps tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with GRPC, Protobuf, or similar Remote Procedure Call (RPC) software.
