Job summary

Integrated Personnel Services seeks an ELV Supervisor-DC to oversee installation, testing and maintenance of low-voltage systems in Hyderabad data centres. You will supervise CCTV, PACS, fire detection and IBMS integrations, ensuring uptime and compliance.

Experience: 2+ years in ELV in data centre markets, with NFPA 72, structured cabling, IP cameras, BMS/IBMS, and DCIM knowledge. Strong vendor and site coordination required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an ELV technician or supervisor.
• Experience in data centre environments and GCC/Indian markets is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, CCTV, IP-based access control and BMS/IBMS.
• Ability to prepare Method Statements and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation of ELV systems including CCTV, PACS, fire detection/alarm/suppression, and IBMS integration.
• Conduct on-site testing and commissioning for Structured Cabling, IP cameras, PA systems, and fire alarms.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to meet timelines and follow design documents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and update as-built drawings; document test results.

An Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) Supervisor in the data centre industry is a specialised technical role responsible for managing the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of low-voltage systems that enhance security, communication, and operational efficiency. In modern data centres, ELV systems are considered business-critical, evolving from simple support functions to a vital control layer impacting uptime, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• System Supervision: Overseeing the installation of ELV systems, including CCTV, physical access control systems (PACS), fire detection/alarm/suppression, and integrated building management systems (IBMS).
• Testing & Commissioning: Conducting on-site testing for Structured Cabling (using Fluke/OTDR), IP cameras, public address systems, and fire alarms to ensure they meet performance specifications. Integration
• Coordination: Managing the integration of ELV systems with the master Building Management System (BMS) to ensure seamless operation between subsystems. Vendor & Site Management: Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure project timelines are met, and installation follows design documents.
• Maintenance & Documentation: Performing preventive maintenance (PPM) on critical systems, updating as-built drawings, and documenting test results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of experience as an ELV technician or supervisor, often in the UAE, GCC, or Indian data centre markets.

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of security, fire alarm systems (e.g., NFPA 72 standards), structured cabling, and network troubleshooting.
