Job summary

Adler Talent Solutions in Mumbai is seeking an experienced ELV/ICT design engineer to develop schematic and layout drawings, select equipment, and plan space and routing in line with IS/IEC norms.

The role includes heat mapping, voltage-drop and coverage area calculations, development of AutoCAD/BIM/Revit designs, and coordination with architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical teams to deliver detailed shop drawings and tender-ready documents.

Qualifications

• Prepare schematic and layout drawings for ELV & ICT works in compliance with relevant standards and IS/IEC norms.
• Develop detailed layout drawings for cable tray, routing and equipment layouts.
• Prepare GFC design, DBR, technical specifications, BOQ and RFQ as per project requirements.
• Perform heat mapping, voltage drop, coverage area and I/O summary calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schematic & layout drawings, equipment selection, space and route planning, calculations like heat mapping and voltage drop for ELV & ICT works.
• Prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, support details and equipment layout.
• Independently prepare ELV & ICT GFC design per project requirements and codes.
• Prepare DBR, technical specs, BOQ, RFQ, and make lists.
• Develop detail design on AutoCAD/BIM/Revit with Cad/BIM/Revit modelers.
• Create shop/construction drawings coordinating with Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical drawings.
• Perform technical evaluation of ELV & ICT equipment for projects and tenders.

Role & responsibilities

1. Should be able to prepare schematic & layout drawing, Equipment selection, space and route planning, calculations like heat mapping, voltage drop, cause and effect matrix, I/O summary, coverage area, control philosophy, etc. for various ELV & ICT works like CCTV, PAVA, TMRS, Nurses calling station, AV, Active and passive networking, IPBEX, BMS, SCADA, Leak detection system, etc. as per relevant standards and IS/IEC norms.
2. Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, support details, cable routing, equipment layout, etc.
3. Preparation of ELV & ICT detail GFC design independently as per project requirements and adhering to various codes (national and international).
4. Preparation of DBR, technical specification, BOQ, RFQ, make list, etc.
5. Able to perform Heat mapping, voltage drop calculation, coverage area calculation, I/O summary and other calculation related with ELV & ICT.
6. Able to develop detail design on AutoCAD/BIM/Revit with the help of Cad/BIM/Revit modeler.
7. Prepare shop drawing/ construction drawing in conjunction with the Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical drawings to ensure engineering coordination.
8. Technical evaluation of ELV & ICT Equipments for project and tenders.
