Job summary

Adler Talent Solutions in Mumbai is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to prepare SLDs and Equipment Layouts per NBC/CEIG/IS, and to create detailed drawings for cable trays, earthing, load balance and voltage drop calculations. You will independently perform GFC design per project requirements and adhere to national and international codes.

Responsibilities include DBR/BOQ/RFQ preparation, load flow and arc flash studies, lux calculations, BIM/Revit detailing, and coordinating shop drawings

Responsibilities

• Should be able to prepare SLD, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity rule/ GRIHA/ IGBC/IEC/IS
• Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, earthing layout, Load list with load balancing, fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, lux calculation, LPS design, cable routing, lighting, and power layout drawing, etc.
• Preparation of Electrical detail GFC design independently as per project requirements and adhering to various codes (national and international).
• Preparation of DBR, technical specification, BOQ, RFQ, make list, etc.
• Able to perform Load flow analysis, discrimination study, arc flash study, relay setting on ETAP or equivalent software.
• Able to perform lux calculation on Dia lux or equivalent software.
• Able to develop detail design on BIM/Revit with the help of BIM/Revit modeler.
• Prepare shop drawing/ construction drawing in conjunction with the Architectural, Structural and Mechanical drawings to ensure engineering coordination.
• Technical evaluation of Electrical Equipments for project and tenders.
