Job summary

AECOM India Private Limited is seeking a Lead Engineer to head ELV design and engineering across project phases. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate multiple disciplines, ensure quality and schedule adherence, and mentor engineers to deliver compliant solutions.

Role requires 8-12 years in ELV systems with data centers, airports, hospitals or smart buildings, and a track record of client interactions and design delivery. Hybrid work model in Gurgaon area.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years project experience in ELV systems.
• Experience with data centers, airports, hospitals, commercial buildings, smart buildings.
• Familiarity with international and local codes and standards.
• Ability to lead design concepts and prepare technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of ELV systems including FAS, PAVA, CCTV, ACS, IDS, SCS, ICT networks, BMS, EPMS, PSIM, ISMS.
• Develop design concepts, architecture, basis of design, calculations and specs.
• Prepare sizing, BOQs, cable IO schedules, and network architecture documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and codes.

Job Description

The Lead Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering and design of ELV systems throughout all project phases. The role includes technical leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, quality assurance, client interaction, and mentoring engineers to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

• Lead the design and engineering of ELV systems, including:
  • Fire Detection & Alarm System (FAS)
  • Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA)
  • CCTV Surveillance
  • Access Control System (ACS)
  • Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
  • Structured Cabling System (SCS)
  • ICT & Telecom Networks
  • Building Management System (BMS)
  • Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS)
  • Physical Security Information Management (PSIM)
  • Integrated Security Management Systems (ISMS)
• Develop design concepts, system architecture, basis of design reports, design calculations, and technical specifications.
• Prepare equipment sizing, BOQs, cable schedules, IO schedules, network architecture, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable international and local codes and standards.
