Job summary

AECOM India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Lead Engineer-Dry Utility to join our Energy team. You will perform detailed electrical design calculations across EHV to LV networks and guide engineers on project delivery.

Requires 5–10 years experience, familiar with Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech and ETAP; work in a hybrid setup from an AECOM office at least three days weekly. You will collaborate with global teams and ensure budgets and schedules are met.

Qualifications

• B. Tech/ Master of Engineering degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-10 years experience; exposure to outside India projects preferably Middle East, UK, USA, Canada & ANZ region.
• Electrical design calculation experience for EHV, HV, MV, LV, Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump stations, Water Treatment Plant, EV charging stations, Substations, and power transmission & distribution.
• Software experience with Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical design calculations across EHV to LV networks.
• Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
• Provide guidance to entry-level engineers and work within budget and schedule with limited supervision.
• Independently perform primary design elements for engineering works.

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Engineer-Dry Utility(Infrastructure) to join our Energy team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team. Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignements. Identifies discrepancies in results. Provides guidance to entry level engineers. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision. Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
