Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Lead Engineer to head the ELV design for projects, providing technical leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, QA, client interaction, and mentoring to deliver on time and within budget.

The role covers Fire Detection & Alarm, Public Address & Voice Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, IDS, SCS, ICT networks, BMS, EPMS, PSIM/ISMS, and integrated security management systems, ensuring compliance with international and local codes.

Qualifications

• Lead the design and engineering of ELV systems across project phases.
• Develop design concepts, system architecture, and technical specifications.
• Prepare equipment sizing, BOQs, cable schedules, IO schedules and network layout.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of ELV systems, including FAS, PAVA, CCTV, ACS, IDS, SCS, ICT & telecom, BMS, EPMS, PSIM/ISMS.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, perform QA, and mentor engineers to meet schedules and budgets.
• Interact with clients to ensure requirements are understood and met.

Job Description

The Lead Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering and design of ELV systems throughout all project phases. The role includes technical leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, quality assurance, client interaction, and mentoring engineers to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

• Lead the design and engineering of ELV systems, including:
• Fire Detection & Alarm System (FAS)
• Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA)
• CCTV Surveillance
• Access Control System (ACS)
• Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
• Structured Cabling System (SCS)
• ICT & Telecom Networks
• Building Management System (BMS)
• Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS)
• Physical Security Information Management (PSIM)
• Integrated Security Management Systems (ISMS)
• Develop design concepts, system architecture, basis of design reports, design calculations, and technical specifications.
• Prepare equipment sizing, BOQs, cable schedules, IO schedules, network architecture, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable international and local codes and standards.
