Job summary

Raptee.HV is a full-stack electric motorcycle startup focused on a no-compromise upgrade, based in Chennai. We are seeking an Electronics System Engineer to develop and maintain the EV 2W electrical architecture and power distribution, and to support integration, testing, validation, and debugging of vehicle electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in electrical/electronic/EV systems.
• Knowledge of EV 2W electrical architecture and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EV 2W electrical architecture and power distribution.
• Define electrical requirements, interfaces, and specifications for vehicle systems.
• Work on LV electrical systems, wiring harness, connectors, fuses, relays, switches, sensors, actuators and ECUs.
• Support integration of BMS, VCU, Motor Controller, DC-DC, Charger, Instrument Cluster and Telematics.
• Review wiring diagrams, schematics, circuit protection, grounding, and connector selections.
• Perform electrical system integration, vehicle bring-up, commissioning, and debugging.
• Diagnose electrical issues using multimeter, oscilloscope, CAN tools.
• Support EMI/EMC testing, electrical safety, environmental, and reliability validation.
• Prepare and execute electrical system test plans and validation procedures.
• Root-cause analysis and drive issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Support prototype builds, vehicle testing, design reviews and production implementation.

Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Electronics System Engineer to develop and maintain EV 2W electrical architecture and power distribution, and support the integration, testing, validation, and debugging of vehicle electrical systems.

What You'll Do
