Kimbal is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Uttar Pradesh, Namoli, to manage PR/PO activities using SAP MM and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth material flow. The role requires strong Excel skills for MIS reporting and effective supplier liaison to resolve escalations.

Responsibilities

• Execute PR and PO activities using SAP MM module.
• Follow up with suppliers for quotations, delivery schedules, and closures of quality-related escalations.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Finance for smooth material flow and issue resolution.
• Prepare MIS reports monthly on procurement performance, pending POs, and supplier metrics.
• Maintain and analyze procurement data using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Apply knowledge of ICs, PCBs, connectors, modules for sourcing in electronics manufacturing.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) related activities using SAP MM module
2. Follow up with suppliers for quotations, delivery schedules, and timely closure of escalations related to quality issues identified during Incoming Quality Check (IQC) and In-Process inspection
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Production, Quality, Stores, Finance) to ensure smooth material flow and issue resolution
4. Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports on a monthly basis covering procurement performance, pending POs, and supplier metrics
5. Maintain and analyze procurement data using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, tracking sheets)
6. Apply working knowledge of electronic components (ICs, PCBs, connectors, modules) for sourcing and vendor coordination in a smart metering/electronics manufacturing context

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP MM module (PR/PO cycle)
