Job summary

CFF Fluid Control Limited in Pune district seeks an Electronics Engineer to lead drone integration projects (USV/UAV) with payloads, sensors and communications. You will join the hardware team to design, integrate and test electronic subsystems for demanding environments.

The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience with flight controllers, sensors, and MAVLink-based workflows, collaborating with mechanical and software teams to deliver qualified hardware for defence programmes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience integrating drone platforms with payloads, sensors and communication systems.
• Experience with defence/naval electronic programmes and integrating subsystems.
• Ability to design, test and qualify electronic subsystems for UAV/drone platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate electronic subsystems for UAV/drone platforms, including flight controllers, power distribution, payload interfaces and communication links.
• Integrate sensors and payloads (cameras, GPS/GNSS, IMU, telemetry radios, data links) with the airframe and onboard computers.
• Carry out schematic capture, PCB design inputs, component selection and BOM preparation for drone electronics.
• Develop and review interface control documents (ICDs), wiring harness drawings and integration procedures.
• Configure and tune flight control stacks (PX4 / ArduPilot) and work with MAVLink-based communication.
• Perform bench testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, ground tests and support flight trials; analyse data and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware, power, EMI/EMC and RF-related problems during integration.
• Coordinate with mechanical team, supply chain and vendors for timely delivery.
• Support environmental testing, EMI/EMC and qualification activities as per applicable standards (MIL-STD / JSS).
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports and design review material.

About the Role

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience in integrating drone (UA/USV) platforms with payloads, sensors and communication systems. You will work within our hardware and software design team on defence and naval electronics programmes, contributing to design, integration, testing and qualification of electronic subsystems that operate in demanding environments.
