Responsibilities

• Develop schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools.
• Select electronic components based on performance, cost, availability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with embedded firmware engineers on hardware-software integration.
• Prepare engineering documents, including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and design specifications.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, design verification, and test jig development.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams during pilot and production stages.
• Analyze field failures and implement corrective actions; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with testing and validation of PCB assemblies and electronic subsystems.
• Review and approve schematics, BOM scraps,Gerber files, and working Gerbers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including DHF, DMR, test reports, procedures, and design change records.

Role & responsibilities

Develop schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools.

• Select electronic components based on performance, cost, availability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with embedded firmware engineers on hardware-software integration.
• Prepare engineering documents, including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and design specifications.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, design verification, and test jig development.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams during pilot and production stages.
• Analyze field failures and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with testing and validation of PCB assemblies, electronic subsystems, and finished medical devices.

• Review and approve schematics, BOM scrubbing, Gerber files, and working Gerbers.
• Approve bare PCB penalization and supplier development activities.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including DHF, DMR, test reports, procedures, and design change records.

Develop stencils and support DFM activities.

Provide engineering support to manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

Work closely with design engineers throughout product development.

• Collaborate with systems, firmware, mechanical, and software engineers to ensure smooth integration.
• Create and maintain manufacturing and engineering documentation, including DMRs, test protocols, and reports.
• Apply strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB development.
• Use PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or Cadence.
• Debug hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other test equipment.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Perform functional, electrical, and environmental testing under senior engineer supervision.
