Seeking a creative Electronics Design Engineer to develop and test advanced lab equipment that merges hands-on electronics with impactful learning.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for lab-based learning and data collection tools
- Create and test functional prototypes using electronics prototyping platforms (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, etc.)
- Develop detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools
- Evaluate system performance and conduct debugging, testing, and validation of electronic components
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electronics into products
- Select appropriate components and design for reliability, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency
- Support fabrication and assembly teams by providing clear documentation and guidance
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, components, and tools in the electronics domain
- Maintain thorough design documentation, version control, and BOMs throughout the product development lifecycle
Key Requirements:
- Solid foundation in electronics hardware and interface design
- Strong understanding of circuit design, PCB design, and embedded system fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with soldering, prototyping, and debugging tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
- Ability to interpret datasheets, technical specs, and develop custom solutions based on project needs
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and USB
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics design, prototyping, or manufacturing
