Job summary

About the role

As a field service engineer, you will be responsible for handling the installation, commissioning, repair, and service of our equipment on customer vessels at ports across India. This job involves extensive travel and may require you to respond to short notice requests. You must be based in Mumbai. To be successful in this role, you will need to have confidence, meticulousness, and a thorough technical understanding of the equipment. You must also have strong communication skills and the ability to think on your feet and come up with logical solutions on the job. At the end of the initial training/probation period, you will need to demonstrate that you possess these qualities. As soon as this happens, we will confirm your permanent position with all the benefits.

Skills and qualifications

• At the minimum, vocational training in electronics

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Flexibility to travel to any port in India at short notice

• Proactive approach to developing a good technical understanding of the equipment
