Job summary

Duroflex in Hosur is seeking an Electrician to ensure smooth operation of plant electrical systems. The role requires 6 years of experience, ITI/Diploma in Electrical, and hands-on expertise in preventive and breakdown maintenance, VFD/PLC systems, and DG compressors.

The candidate will troubleshoot electrical circuits, perform control panel wiring, monitor MTTR/MTBF, and coordinate with production teams across all shifts while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEEE) required.
• Around 6 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing/plant maintenance.
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with maintenance and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical circuits and equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs and PLC systems; knowledge of PLC programming will be an added advantage.
• Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of DG, air compressors, and associated electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Tape Edge, VCM, CCM, and Spring Plant machinery.
• Perform control panel wiring, electrical connections, and fault identification.
• Monitor equipment performance and support calculation and analysis of MTTR and MTBF.
• Ensure timely resolution of electrical breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain proper records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and plant safety standards.
• Coordinate effectively with production and maintenance team members for timely resolution of equipment-related issues.
• Maintain flexibility to work across all three shifts, including rotational shifts as required.
• Identify recurring electrical and equipment issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain proper documentation of breakdowns, repairs, spare parts, and maintenance activities.
