Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Electrician has to maintains, installs, and repairs building electrical systems, lighting, power distribution units, and backup generators. They ensure uninterrupted power for office operations, troubleshoot equipment or wiring failures, and comply with regional safety and building codes.

Conduct routine checks on transformers, low/high tension (LT/HT) panels, switchboards, and distribution boards.

Diagnose power outages, flickering lights, faulty sockets, and tripped circuit breakers quickly to minimize downtime.

Install new wiring, data conduits, lighting fixtures, and workstation power drops during office reconfigurations.

Monitor and assist in maintaining Diesel Generators (DG) and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.

Adhere strictly to local electrical safety regulations and use thermal scanners or multimeters safely.

Ability to read blueprints, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical schematics.

Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills to coordinate with facility management teams.
