Job summary

JobItUs in Mundra is seeking an experienced Electrician to perform ongoing electrical maintenance across the plant and ensure reliable operation of all electrical systems. The ideal candidate holds an ITI or Diploma in Electrical, with 6–10 years of hands-on experience in chemical industry environments, and a strong focus on safety and fault diagnostics.

This is a full-time, on-site role at Mundra-Kutch, offering opportunities to contribute to production and projects teams while maintaining

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical as mandatory
• 6–10 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience
• Experience in chemical/MNC environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule daily
• Support Production and Projects departments in daily processes
• Ensure smooth operation of electrical units and equipment for safety
• Conduct scheduled checks, inspections, and detect faults and malfunctions
• Repair, replace and refurbish damaged electrical components and wiring
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring per local codes
• Follow safety procedures and regulations of working
• Investigate electrical maintenance complaints and propose remedial measures
• Attend to breakdowns as required
• Keep records of repairs and maintenance and report to Assistant Manager Electrical
• Maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipment and systems at the plant
• Place orders for spare parts and maintain inventory records
• Carry out meter readings of equipment daily

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance work as per maintenance schedule on a daily basis
• Provide necessary support to the processes of the Production and Projects departments on daily basis
• Ensure the smooth functioning of all electrical units and equipment at the plant for the safety of its occupants.
• Conduct scheduled checks, inspections, and detect any short circuits and electrical malfunctions.
• Repair, replace and refurbish damaged electrical units, sockets and other parts.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on the local codes.
• Follow stipulated safety procedures and regulations of working.
• Investigate electrical maintenance complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures.
• Attend to breakdowns as and when required
• Keep proper records/reports of all electrical repair and maintenance works and submit to the Assistant Manager Electrical.
• Maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipments, facilities, components, products and systems at the plant
• Place order for spare parts and maintain an inventory record of the same.
• Carry out meter reading of various equipments with respect to pressure, temperature et al on a daily basis
