Job summary

Operational Energy Group (OEG) invites applications for an Electrical Technician / Electrician with B or C license to join our manufacturing facility in Karapakkam, Chennai. You will perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on industrial electrical systems, troubleshoot HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC, motors and transformers, and ensure safe operating practices.

Experience: 3+ years in industrial electrical maintenance with knowledge of electrical safety and permit-to-work procedures.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma Electrical required.
• Valid B License OR C License is mandatory.
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
• Experience in HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC, motors, transformers and switchgear preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC, motors, transformers and switchgear.
• Carry out electrical fault finding and troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform inspection, testing and maintenance of electrical installations.
• Handle HT/LT electrical maintenance and industrial power distribution systems.
• Maintain electrical equipment, panels, motors and associated systems in safe operating condition.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records, checklists and breakdown reports.
• Support planned maintenance and emergency breakdown activities.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, permit-to-work and safe working practices.
• Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required.
