Job summary

Givaudan in Pune, Ranjangaon, seeks an Electrical Technician to maintain production systems, utilities and infrastructure with hands-on fault finding and repair. You ensure safety standards, compliance and thorough documentation across the line.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical, a valid wireman licence and 6–8 years in FMCG maintenance, with experience in motors, switchgear, SCADA/PLC and hygienic environments preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical and valid PWD wireman licence.
• 6–8 years of electrical/electronic repair and maintenance in FMCG.
• English language proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Role model for safety and compliance on maintenance works.
• Maintain electrical systems, switchgears, and instrumentation.
• Read wiring diagrams and document spare parts needs.
• Maintain lifting equipment, HVAC, pumps, and packaging lines.
• Coordinate with teams for operations improvements and RCA-based fixes.

Position : Electrical Techncian - Pune, Ranjagaon

Purpose Of The Role

Responsible for the Electrical activities/repairs and electrical troubleshooting of the Production system, utility equipment and infrastructure. Responsible for execution of maintenance systems.

Main Accountabilities And Responsibilities

• Is a Role Model for Safety.
• Supports the safety improvements and assures legal compliance on maintenance works.
• Works to standards and assures the team works to it (Safety, Quality, continuous improvements, 5S etc.) and secure the availability of standard technical documentation.
• Candidates must be hands on in reading electrical wiring diagrams.
• Should have hands on experience in operation and maintenance electrical switchgears.
• Hands on experience on working with instruments like induction AC motors, VFD, SCADA, PLC, RIO, different types of sensors/transmitters, flow meters etc.
• Candidates must have experience in testing/calibration of different electrical /electronic items.
• Should be hands on mechanically dismantling big motors.
• Installation of above and alignment.
• Change bearings in motors
• Maintenance of lifting equipment such as scissor lift/Articulated boom lift.
• Should have hands on maintenance experience in pneumatic system, on HT/LT panels, switchgears, transformer, DG set, fire hydrant system, Lifts, HVAC, Boiler, Water treatment plant, blowers, dust collectors, different pumps, agitators, Air compressor, packaging equipment’s like Metal detectors, Filling/packaging machines, MHE, etc.
• Candidates are having experience in maintenance of equipment in hygienic environment shall be preferred.
• Responsible for documentation and identifying spare part in his area.
• Candidates must have experience in implementing good engineering practices.
• Candidates are having experience on maintenance of food, chemical or pharma shall be preferred.
• Responsible for electrical maintenance ,management and related spare part.
• Work with other team member /internal customer to achieve synergy for the factory as a whole.
• Support cross functional department for day to day operation and improvements/capacity enhancement projects.
• Execute maintenance work orders and manage its life cycle/documentation of its.
• Systematic approach toward problem solving by using RCA tools.

Profile Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical
• Should have PWD wiremen or Electrical supervisory licence.
• 6-8 years’ experience in Electrical/electronic repair and Electrical /electronic maintenance of FMCG industries.
• Language - Knowledge of English, (verbally and written)
