Job summary

Raptakos Brett And Company seeks an experienced electrical/instrumentation technician at the Dahej site. You will operate and maintain PCC, MCC, APFC and panels, ensuring reliable transformers and protection relays.

The role involves troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs and automation systems, reading SLDs, and maintaining power quality with effective teamwork.

Qualifications

• Should have basic knowledge of troubleshooting electrical instrument related work.
• Able to interpret SLDs, wiring diagrams and electrical panel drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain PCC, MCC, APFC and electrical panels to ensure reliable transformer operation.
• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of motors, transformers and switchgear to improve power quality.
• Troubleshoot faults, read SLDs and wiring diagrams; apply basic PLC/ VFD knowledge in automation systems.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for all electrical and instrumentation activities including operation, monitoring and maintenance of PCC, MCC, APFC and other electrical panels. Ensure reliable operation of transformers, VCBs, ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, capacitor banks and protection relays

• Performed preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of motors, transformers, switchgear and electrical distribution systems. Maintained APFC panels, capacitor banks and power factor controllers to improve system efficiency and power quality.

• Possess basic knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical faults, interpreting single line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams and electrical panel drawings.

• Should have knowledge & experience of troubleshooting in and electrical instrument related work
