Job summary

ABC Compressors India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and test industrial air compressor systems and to troubleshoot faults in electrical systems at customer sites in India. The role requires reading wiring diagrams and strong customer-facing communication.

Candidates should have a Diploma or graduate in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and at least 2 years of field service experience. Willingness to travel pan India is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or graduate in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in Field Services & Maintenance of electrical systems (compressors, DG sets, engines, machines, heavy equipment).
• Experience of VFD/Panel/HMI/PLC/Electrical installation, commissioning.
• Ability to analyse & rectify problems, customer focused, sound health.
• Willingness to travel pan India.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Install, commission & test industrial Air compressor systems
• Troubleshoot & resolve faults in electrical systems, PLC, HMI, VFD, control panels, etc.
• Perform breakdown service at customer sites
• Basic knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD drives
• Ability to read electrical drawings/Wiring diagrams
• Willingness to travel extensively for field service assignments
• Good communication & customer handling skills
• Strong problem-solving skill & ability to work independently

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Diploma or Graduate in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
• Shall have minimum 2 years of experience in Field Services & Maintenance of electrical systems of e.g. Compressors, DG Sets, Engines, Machines, Heavy equipments ...etc
• Shall have experience of VFD/Panel/HMI/PLC/Electrical i installation, Commissioning.
