Job summary

Holy Rock & Green Flag Engineering Consultancy in Chennai is seeking engineers to design and review protection & control systems for HV/EHV substations, and to prepare relay, metering, and interlock diagrams.

Candidates should have experience with IEC 61850, SAS architecture, GA/BOM drawings, cable schedules, and coordination with suppliers and site teams. Experience with GIS/AIS systems and SEC-like projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience designing protection and control for HV/EHV substations.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850 communication and SAS architecture.
• Familiarity with GA, BOM, interconnection drawings and related diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Design and review protection & control systems for HV/EHV substations.
• Prepare and review relay & metering diagrams, protection logic and interlock diagrams.
• Prepare AC Three-Line/Elementary, TFR, PSE and Synchro Check interfacing drawings.
• Prepare SAS, SOE, SCADA, TFR and DSM point lists.
• Work on IEC 61850 communication and SAS architecture.
• Prepare GA, BOM, schematic and interconnection drawings for Control & Protection Panels and LCCs.
• Handle cable BOQ, cable laying schedules and termination/interconnection schedules.
• Perform CT/VT and Metrosil sizing calculations.
• Coordinate with primary equipment, suppliers, procurement and site teams.
• Support FAT activities and resolve technical/site issues.
• Handle SAP PR and BOM-related activities.

• Experience with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), National Grid Saudi Arabia, or similar utility projects is preferred
