Job summary

Adecco India is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for a 33 kV transmission line project. You will oversee end-to-end execution, including planning, approvals, procurement, and site management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strict safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and preferably a PMP certification, with 5+ years in construction/engineering project management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project execution, including statutory approvals, planning, procurement, and site management. The candidate should ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Monitor project progress and implement control measures to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Statutory Approvals

• Obtain all necessary statutory and regulatory approvals from government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.

Procurement & Material Management

• Plan and manage procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Monitor material usage and inventory at site.

Site Execution & Management

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Project Monitoring & Control

• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

HSE Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety regulations at site.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among workers and staff.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare regular project status reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Maintain all project documentation, including approvals, drawings, and contracts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
• PMP or equivalent certification (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in construction/engineering projects.
• Proven experience in handling site execution and statutory approvals.
