Job Overview
This position is an Electrical Engineer responsible for overseeing domain engineering activities, ensuring quality, safety, budgeting, and vendor management for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and ensure availability of correct, consistent and comprehensive drawings and specifications with contractors and consultants.
- Organize and coordinate with architects/consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings.
- Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain engineering work packages (mechanical, civil, electrical).
- Evaluate BOQ/tender drawings submitted by consultants.
- Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages and forecast cash flows.
- Collaborate with Contracts & Purchase Team on BOQs, tenders and contracts.
- Monitor milestones against project plan; review and approve first‑level sign‑off on measurement sheets and payables.
- Ensure implementation of construction QA/QC processes; assist in quality & safety audits.
- Review weekly & monthly reports of assigned packages; drive corrective actions and escalation.
- Ensure adherence to all systems & processes required by the organization.
Requirements
- B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 8–12 years of hands‑on experience in site execution profile in the construction industry.
- Strong skills in quantity estimation, budgeting, design parameters, safety practices.
