Vision Power Analytics in Mumbai seeks an Electrical Manager (Audit, Inspection and Safety) to plan, coordinate and lead multiple field teams for electrical site audits. You will ensure safety, data accuracy, and timely reporting across substations, transformers, and distribution systems.

The role requires BE Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years’ relevant experience, strong leadership, and expertise in electrical safety, inspections, and data analytics using dashboards.

  • BE Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical project/utility/inspection/audit.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and utility installations.
  • Experience in electrical safety, inspection, testing, and condition assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Audit – Planning & mobilization: develop site audit execution plan and schedule.
  • Team coordination: lead multiple audit teams and assign scope.
  • Electrical audit management: cover distribution substations, transformers, HT/LT panels, RMUs.
  • Data collection & asset verification: ensure accurate asset data and location.
  • Quality control: review reports and ensure data consistency.
  • Safety management & trainings: conduct safety assessments and trainings.
  • Technical review & analysis: classify findings and coordinate engineering analysis.

Coordination of Multi-Team for Electrical Installation Site Audits

Job Purpose

Responsible for planning, coordinating, multiple field teams conducting electrical site audits of electrical installations. The role ensures that Electrical site audits are completed safely, systematically, and within the project schedule, with accurate data collection, quality control, technical review, and consolidated reporting.



Key Responsibilities


1. Audit – Planning & Mobilization


  • Develop the overall site audit execution plan and audit schedule.

  • Prepare team-wise deployment plans and daily targets.

  • Coordinate site access, permissions, client representatives, and authorities.



2. Team Coordination


  • Lead and coordinate multiple electrical audit teams working simultaneously.

  • Assign locations and audit scope to each team.

  • Conduct daily/weekly coordination meetings.

  • Monitor team progress against planned targets.

  • Resolve site-level technical and logistical issues.

  • Ensure effective communication between field teams and management.



3. Electrical Audit Management


  • Coordinate audits covering installations such as:

  • Distribution substations

  • Transformers

  • HT/LT panels

  • RMUs

  • Distribution feeders

  • HT/LT cables

  • Overhead lines

  • Street-lighting systems

  • Earthing and lightning protection

  • Protection systems

  • Metering systems

  • DG/backup systems where applicable

  • Electrical safety and statutory compliance

  • Condition and reliability of electrical assets



4. Data Collection & Asset Verification


  • Ensure site audit is comprehensive and effective.

  • Ensure accurate collection of asset identification, rating, location, condition, loading, protection, and maintenance data.

  • Monitor completeness and accuracy of field data.



5. Quality Control


  • Review field audit reports and identify data gaps/inconsistencies.

  • Conduct random/repeat inspections for quality verification.

  • Ensure all teams follow approved audit methodology and checklists.

  • Perform technical review of critical findings.

  • Establish first level and second-level quality checks before submission to the client.



6. Safety Management and trainings


  • Conduct safety assessment of the ongoing audit programs and conduct periodic safety trainings

  • Ensure field teams follow electrical safety procedures.

  • Stop unsafe activities and elevate serious safety issues.

  • Conduct periodic site visits

  • Ensure adherence to PTW, LOTO, and SOPs

  • Ensure 100% PPE compliance and safety protocols.



7. Technical Review & Analysis


  • Review major electrical deficiencies identified by field teams.

  • Categorize findings based on criticality, safety, reliability, statutory compliance, and asset condition.

  • Coordinate engineering analysis of significant findings.

  • Identify recurring problems and systemic issues.

  • Develop recommendations for corrective action and improvement.



8. Reporting & Deliverables


  • Coordinate preparation of individual site audit reports.

  • Consolidate findings from multiple teams.

  • Review technical accuracy and consistency of reports.

  • Develop executive dashboards and management presentations.

  • Ensure final deliverables meet agreed client requirements and timelines.



9. Client & Stakeholder Coordination


  • Act as the primary project coordinator

  • Attend client review meetings

  • Clarify technical and operational requirements.

  • Manage client comments and revisions.

  • Track deliverables and approvals.

  • Escalate critical project issues to senior management.



Qualification & Experience


  • BE Electrical Engineering: - 5 to 7 Yrs of relevant Experience in Electrical project/utility/inspection/audit experience preferred.



Skills


  • Experience managing multiple field teams and geographically distributed projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and utility installations.

  • Experience in electrical safety, inspection, testing, and condition assessment.

  • Good understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, equipment ratings, protection, and earthing.

  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, project dashboards, and reporting.

  • Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and client-management skills.
