Job summary

Skyroot Aerospace Private Limited is seeking an avionics integration engineer to design and implement avionics systems integration and testing. You will handle electrical assembly, harness fabrication coordination, and produce wiring/assembly documentation for development programs.

The role requires hands-on experience with harness tooling, IPC-620, MIL-STD-461, and ISRO standards, plus 4–5 years in aerospace/defence sectors. B.E./B.Tech in electronics or electrical engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of work experience in Aerospace/Defence/Automobile industries.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on harness fabrication per IPC-620 or ISRO-PAX-300.
• Ability to read electrical architecture, schematics and technical documents.
• Familiar with IPC-610/620, MIL-STD-461 & ISRO standards.

Responsibilities

• Electrical assembly and integration processes with quality and safety.
• Identify electrical assembly and integration needs for new products.
• Generate production documentation such as integration processes and assembly instructions.
• Over-all QC implementation for electrical works per project specs.
• Integrate avionics systems during tests per ENTEST MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461.
• Communicate with vendors for harness fabrication and procurement.

Purpose of role: Design and implementation of avionics systems integration & testing.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the electrical assembly and integration processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner.
  
• Identify electrical assembly and integration needs for new products in development
  
• Generating production documentation such as integration process and electrical assembly instructions etc.
  
• Responsible for the over-all implementation of quality control related electrical works in accordance with project specifications
  
• Responsible for integration of avionics systems and subsystems during various test like ENTEST as per MIL-STD-810G and JSS-0256-1, EMI/EMC MIL-STD-461.
  
• Responsible for communicating with vendor for harness fabrication, required integration raw material procurement.
  

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Hands on experience on harness fabrication as per IPC-620 or ISRO-PAX-300 and routing etc and soldering.
  
• Proficiency in Handling Test Tools/Instruments (DMM, IR Tools, Oscilloscope, Harness Tools).
  
• Good Understanding and working knowledge of E-CAD Tools (Zuken-E3, Creo, Solid Works).
  
• Able to read and prepare electrical architecture, block diagram, schematics, technical documents and checklists for integration.
  
• Able to interpret related standards like IPC-610/620, MIL-STD-461 & ISRO.
  
• 4-5 Years Work Experience in Aerospace/Defence/Automobile Industries.
  
• B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
