Job summary

2coms is seeking an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (E&I) Engineer for a leading Oil & Gas company in Cyprus. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years in Oil & Gas with hands-on knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining E&I systems at the oil storage terminal, troubleshooting instrumentation and control issues, and supporting calibration, testing, and safety compliance across DCS, PLC/SCADA, ESD, and tank

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC/SCADA, ESD Systems, Tank Gauging, Valves & Actuators, Instrument Calibration and Industrial Instrumentation Systems.
• Good English communication skills (IELTS 6.5 equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee electrical, instrumentation, and control systems at the oil storage terminal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Support maintenance planning, inspections, testing, commissioning, and equipment reliability.
• Monitor and maintain DCS, PLC/SCADA, ESD, tank gauging systems, control valves, and actuators.
• Perform and supervise instrument calibration and testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, maintenance teams, and internal departments.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and safe operation of E&I systems.
