Job summary

Astrobase Space Technologies is seeking an ITI Electrician to join our industrial maintenance team. The role involves assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems in our manufacturing environments.

You will work on cable laying, panel wiring, motor and MCC equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE requirements. A hands-on, safety-conscious approach is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• ITI Electrician with 2 years of experience in industrial environments.
• Experience assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Familiar with industrial safety standards, PPE and safe working practices.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and follow site specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians in installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical equipment.
• Support cable laying, cable glanding, and cable termination activities.
• Assist in electrical panel installation and panel wiring works.
• Help in maintenance of motors, transformers, MCC panels, and control panels.
• Perform conduit, tray, and trunking installation work.
• Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults in production machinery.
• Handle electrical tools, testing instruments, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper storage of electrical materials at site.
• Assist during commissioning and shutdown maintenance works.
