Job summary

Nexteer Automotive - India Technical Center invites applications for an Application Electrical Hardware Engineer. The role focuses on creating and maintaining electrical schematics, driving DFMEA for control modules, and ensuring signal integrity in PCAs. Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering required.

Responsibilities

Application Electrical Hardware Engineer

Key responsibilities and authorities

• Create electrical schematics based on core circuit blocks
• Maintain & own electrical schematic & components for assigned programs
• Create/maintain/modify Circuit Analysis and Design Documents
• Create/maintain/modify Circuit Test Plans, monitor testing activity and review test results
• Conduct ECU failure analysis to identify root cause using standard lab equipment and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Review PCB layout and provide recommendation to assure integrity of electrical signals on the circuit Card Assembly
• Lead schematic review activities for assigned programs
• Interface with other functional groups to ensure integrity and accuracy of the design
• Lead/support DFMEA activities for the Control Module Hardware

Qualification Required (Education – Experience – Skills)

Master of Science or bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering.
