Job summary

Husco International, Inc. is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support new and existing products through analysis, design, and validation of hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to bring electrical hardware from concept to production, demonstrating proficiency in power electronics and PCB design.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. The position is based in Pune District, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of work experience in embedded PCB power electronics and board design.
  • Proficiency in simulation of electronic circuits and board layout.
  • Strong communication skills and capability to work independently.

PERFORMANCEOBJECTIVES
  • RapidLearningandSkillDevelopment:Embraceasteeplearningcurvetorapidlyexpandproductknowledge,abilities,andtoolkit(e.g.,AltiumDesigner,ElectricalSPICEsimulation,industrystandards(IPC,ISO,etc.),debugging,testing,Agiledevelopmentmethods)toapplytoelectricalhardwaredesignandvalidationsfromconcepttoproduction.
  • End-to-End Electrical Hardware Support: Utilize your expertise to efficiently turn engineering requirements into reality. Collaborate with PCB fabrication and assembly manufacturing, test labs, component suppliers, engineering labs, software engineers, and internal/external customers throughout the development process, from early development to production and beyond.
  • ExpertiseinPowerElectronicsHardware:DemonstrateproficiencyinPCBdesignforlowpowerelectronichardwaresuchassolenoidandmotorcontrol(<60V,<50A).ThisincludesdesigningforEMC,ESD,thermal,noise,etc.ShowcaseexperienceincomponentsselectionandrobustPCBlayout.Designandselecthardwaresuitableforautomotiveandoff-highwaymarkets.Utilizecutting-edgesoftware(e.g.,Altium,Ansys,Amesim,ICEPak).Conducttesting,validation,anddocumentationforproduction.
  • Deep Understanding of Electrical power and communication systems. Utilize your knowledge of software, mechanical, and electrical domains to set up simulations, firmware, component tests, systems tests, and modifications of a PCBA. Leverage your expertise to break down electrical systems into underlying components and circuits, proposing, implementing, testing, writing software, and validating function/fit with respect to requirements.
  • Strong Team Player and Contributor. Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high- pressure atmosphere. Combine a balance of attention to detail and complete work within project timelines while complying with process, quality, safety, and communication expectations.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
  • BachelorofElectricalEngineeringmajororequivalent
  • 4+yearsofworkexperienceanddemonstratedproficiencyinembeddedPCBpowerelectronics,boarddesign,boardlayout,testing,boardrework/soldering,anddebugging
  • Demonstratedproficiencyinsimulationofelectroniccircuits
  • DemonstratedproficiencyinAltiumDesigner,includinguseofversioncontrol,libraries,templates,etc.
  • Capabilitytointerpretandcreateschematics,circuits,requirementsdocuments,datasheets,testplans,andDFMEAs
  • UnderstandingofElectricalrequirementsofmobileequipment(EMC,ESD,vibration,Loaddump,etc..)andhowtorread,understand,designfortest,andvalidateconformancetoapplicablestandards
  • Strongoral,writtenandlisteningcommunicationskills
  • Abilitytoworkindependentlyandwithinagroup.
