Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines; support root-cause analysis with Quality/Production teams.

About this role

Perform electrical and functional testing of manufactured products as per approved test procedures and specifications.Test products such as EMI/EMC filters, inductors, transformers, chokes, and other electrical components.Operate and maintain testing equipment including:Digital MultimeterLCR MeterHipot / High Voltage TesterInsulation Resistance TesterMultimeter and other electrical test instrumentsConduct continuity, resistance, inductance, capacitance, insulation, dielectric strength, and functional tests as applicable.Verify test results against approved specifications and product datasheets.Identify and report failed or non-conforming products.Troubleshoot basic electrical testing failures and coordinate with the Quality and Production teams.Maintain accurate test reports, inspection records, rejection records, and other testing documentation.Ensure testing equipment is used safely and correctly.Check the calibration status of testing instruments before use.Follow approved Work Instructions, SOPs, test procedures, and safety guidelines.Assist in developing and improving testing procedures and checklists.Support Quality and Production teams during root-cause analysis of testing failures.Ensure proper identification and segregation of tested, passed, and rejected products.Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the testing area.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Understanding of AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, power, frequency, inductance, and capacitance. Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and components. Understanding of Ohm's Law and basic electrical calculations. Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and product specifications. Basic understanding of EMI/EMC and electrical filters will be an advantage. Knowledge of electrical safety and safe handling of high-voltage testing equipment is preferred.
