Job summary

MSC Transformers Pvt Ltd in Jejuri, Pune is seeking a Transformer Testing Engineer to perform routine and type tests on power and distribution transformers as per IS/IEC standards.

You will conduct insulation resistance, winding resistance, TTR, no-load, load loss, HV, induced voltage tests and prepare test reports, certificates, and inspection documents, coordinating with Production and Quality for corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Extensive hands-on experience with transformer testing and calibration.
• Strong knowledge of IS/IEC standards relevant to transformers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and type tests on power and distribution transformers as per IS/IEC standards.
• Conduct insulation resistance, winding resistance, TTR, no-load, load loss, HV, induced voltage, vector group tests.
• Prepare and verify test reports, certificates, and inspection documents.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for corrective actions on failures/deviations.

• Perform routine and type tests on power and distribution transformers as per applicable IS/IEC standards .
  
• Conduct electrical testing of transformers, including:
  • Insulation Resistance (IR) Test
    
  • Winding Resistance Test
    
  • Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) Test
    
  • No-Load / Open Circuit Test
    
  • Short Circuit / Load Loss Test
    
  • High Voltage (HV) Test
    
  • Induced Voltage Test
