Job summary

Lloyds Steels is seeking an Electrical Engineer to install and connect electrical equipment inside ships, inspect wiring and panels, and perform testing and commissioning. The role requires hands-on shipyard experience and the ability to read electrical drawings while coordinating with multiple teams.

Candidates should be skilled in electrical installation and commissioning for naval vessels, with strong field experience.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineers with 3.8 years of hands-on experience.
• Shipbuilding / shipyard / marine industry background.
• Naval vessel projects experience.
• Ship electrical installation.
• Electrical commissioning & testing with strong field experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect electrical equipment and systems inside ships.
• Check wiring, panels, cables, electrical equipment, etc.
• Perform testing and commissioning to ensure everything works correctly.
• Find and fix electrical problems during installation and testing.
• Read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, PLC and other teams.
• Prepare testing, inspection and commissioning reports.
• Work at shipyards and onboard vessels; comfortable in ship environment.
