BVG India Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer for an Andheri Airport/Commercial Facility project in Mumbai. The role covers operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of electrical systems across the facility.

You will oversee HT/LT distribution, electrical infrastructure, VHT, pumps, STP, HVAC interfaces, and coordination with OEMs and maintenance contractors to ensure uptime and compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required/preferred.
• Electrical Supervisor License preferred where applicable.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and project execution is essential.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer

Location:

Andheri Airport / Commercial Facility / Infrastructure Project

Role Purpose

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, execution, and lifecycle management of electrical and electromechanical systems across the facility. The role involves ensuring uninterrupted services, managing project execution, maintaining statutory compliance, and adhering to all safety standards and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Operations & Maintenance

• Operate and maintain HT/LT electrical systems and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Monitor system performance and ensure maximum equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.

Mechanical & Utility Systems

• Handle electrical aspects of mechanical installations including:
  • Vertical Transportation Systems (VHT - Elevators & Escalators)
  • Pumps
  • Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
  • Building Handling System (BHS)
  • Water Supply & Utility Systems
  • HVAC electrical interfaces
• Coordinate with OEMs and maintenance contractors for critical systems.

Projects & Execution

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Execute electrical projects from planning to commission.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, and contractor performance.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle, including installation, testing, commissioning, handover, and warranty support.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and vendors for timely project delivery.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with statutory electrical regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure adherence to permit-to-work systems and electrical safety protocols.
• Support internal and external audits.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Prepare MIS reports, maintenance schedules, and project status updates.
• Ensure proper inventory management of electrical spares and consumables.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HT/LT distribution, transformers, DG sets, UPS, panels, and switchgear.
• Good exposure to mechanical utility systems such as VHT, Pumps, STP, BHS, HVAC, and related installations.
• Experience in project estimation, budgeting, BOQ preparation, and lifecycle project management.
• Knowledge of electrical safety regulations, statutory compliance, and SOP implementation.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Strong coordination, planning, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and maintenance management systems (CMMS/BMS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid Electrical Supervisor License (preferred, where applicable).

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance and project execution.
• Experience in airports, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, infrastructure projects, or facility management is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with estimation, project execution, lifecycle delivery, and utility management.
