Job summary

Integrated Personnel Services is seeking an Engineer (6-8 years) or Senior Engineer Electrical for projects at Devikot (Jaisalmer, Rajasthan) and Latur (Maharashtra). Required BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with hands-on experience in HV/LV systems and infrastructure projects.

You will report to the Project Manager and work in renewable/power infra sectors, with responsibilities spanning installation supervision, testing, commissioning, fault diagnosis and documentation.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in renewable/power generation or infra companies.

Responsibilities

• Follow HSE procedures for allotting and executing tasks.
• Supervise installation of 220KV line and related infrastructure.
• Test and commission HV/LV systems including 220KV/33KV works.
• Plan and maintain records of HV/EHV systems and routine tasks.
• Supervise 33kV HT line during execution.
• Test and patrol 33kV HT lines for charging/commissioning.
• Install and maintain electrical equipment for projects.
• Troubleshoot 33KV HT line and switchyard issues.
• Read electrical drawings and diagnose interlocks.
• Erect, commission and test VCB, CT/PT, isolators.
• Inspect project materials at factory when required.
• Monitor and assist OFC cable lays and lease line connectivity.
• Follow store procedures and perform other tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Ensuring to follow HSE procedures & precautions for allotting & executing the task
• 2. Installation Supervision of 220KV Line, 220/33KV Pooling SS, 220KV terminal Bay construction, 33kv HT line,
• 33KV DP Yard etc during the execution
• 3. Testing and commissioning of 220KV Line, 220/33KV Pooling SS, 220KV terminal Bay construction, 33KV HT
• line, 33KV DP Yard etc.
• 4. Ensuring to plan & maintain all records of HV/EHV systems by firm execution of the routine tasks
• 5. Supervision of 33kv HT line during the execution.
• 6. Testing and patrolling of 33kv HT line for charging/commissioning.
• 7. Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment’s for electrical project work.
• 8. Trouble shooting of 33 KV HT line and switch yard.
• 9. Reading of electrical drawings.
• 10. Fault diagnosis of interlocking system.
• 11. Erection, commissioning and testing of VCB, CT/PT, Isolator.
• 12. Factory inspection of Project materials as & when required.
• 13. Monitoring & assist overall jobs related OFC cable lying, lease line connectivity etc.
• 14. Following store related procedures
• 15. Other task assigned to you by the Company.

Standards Of Evaluation:

• 1. Execution of 220KV Line, SS, Terminal Bay, 33KV Line & 33KV DP yard as per planning.
• 2. Execution of 220KV Line, SS, Terminal Bay, 33KV Line & 33KV DP yard within time and cost budget
• 3. Co-ordination with contractors and inter departments to complete work in time
• 4. Effective coordination with all project team members.
