Job summary

Amara Raja Infra (P) Ltd is seeking a capable site professional with experience in coordinating integrated industrial projects across steel, oil & gas, and process industries. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, preparing detailed project reports, and ensuring quality and safety at the worksite.

You will develop schedules, track progress, and arrange required manpower, tools, and electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with electrical standards and specifications on site.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and maintain DPR/Weekly/Monthly reports and update the HOD.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard subcontractors/vendors as needed for project execution.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Strong understanding of integrated industrial project layouts, particularly in sectors such as Steel Plants, Oil & Gas, and Process Industries.
• Coordinate and regularly interact with cross-functional teams, including Civil, Mechanical, and External Stakeholders, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and maintain Daily Project Reports (DPR), Weekly Reports, Monthly Progress Reports, and provide updates to the HOD.
• Develop project schedules, prepare weekly/monthly execution plans, and monitor progress against the baseline schedule.
• Perform material forecasting, track daily material consumption, and prepare material reconciliation statements.
• Manage and supervise 3-4 subcontractors simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality execution of site activities.
• Forecast and arrange required manpower, tools, tackles, and electrical equipment for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, specifications, and quality requirements during execution.
• Prepare and submit Joint Measurement Reports (JMR) to the billing team for processing subcontractor invoices.
• Conduct incoming material inspections, verify materials against approved specifications, and ensure proper storage and inventory management at site.
• Implement and promote Safety Standards, Safe Work Practices, and 5S Methodology at project sites.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new subcontractors/vendors to support project requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Should have worked for Steel Plants earlier atleast for two years.

2. Added advantage for Supervisory license upto 11KV voltage range from any state Electrical licesing Board 3. Should have knowledge on installation, testing & commissioning knowledge upto 33KV in HT Equipements and LT Works in industrial sector.

4. Should have good knowledge on Quality concepts, ISO etc.
