Position: Electrical Engineer

Work Experience: 4-12 years

About the role

This position is located at our Chennai Office. The role may require business trips to China or other international locations.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to gather customer requirements onsite, including machine CT, UPH, yield rate, factory footprint, machine quantities, and customer preferences, then generate research reports.
• Mandatory knowledge in electrical PLC programming, line diagrams, electrical schematics, panel design, and wiring.
• Create control flow charts, electrical schematic diagrams, layout diagrams, select standard electrical parts, and produce BOMs.
• Lead electrical assembly and wire routing; implement design changes during testing if necessary.
• Participate in power distribution debugging of equipment and make design adjustments to resolve issues during debugging.
• Control and coordinate the progress of the entire project.

Familiarity with PLCs, servo motors, step motors, sensors, and other electrical components.

Your Profile

• Graduated in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the automation sector.
• Good knowledge of common PLC brands such as Delta, Omron, Mitsubishi, Inovance; experience in programming various PLCs is a plus.
• Familiar with servo motors, stepper motors, sensors, and other electronic control components; capable of independently selecting and formulating electronic control BOMs.
• Ability to create electrical schematic diagrams and layout drawings independently.
• Strong hands-on skills for wiring and field debugging onsite.
• Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
