Burns & McDonnell India is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Global Facilities Group in Mumbai. The candidate will lead and support electrical engineering and design activities across Consumer & Life Solutions, Data Centers, and industrial projects for USA clients.

Responsibilities include designing electrical systems, advising clients, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with safety codes.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
• 2 years of related electrical design experience.
• Knowledge of electrical design principles, standards, and codes.
• CAD, REVIT and Microsoft Office skills necessary to accomplish electrical design goals.

• Advise clients regarding electrical systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.
• Monitor installation of designed equipment/systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety codes.
• Participate in developing the design criteria for protective device coordination, relay applications, medium voltage transformers, switchgear, medium and low voltage distribution.
• Reviews electrical designs and specifications of equipment or systems being purchased or fabricated.
• Developing concept studies and design
• Enforces standards and practices.
• Work with a Senior electrical engineering in supporting design activities on the project.

The GFS Division focuses on fast moving, Consumer Goods Facilities, Aerospace and industrial Facilities, Food & Beverages, Data Centers and Commercial Facilities which offer a wide range of design and project execution experiences. Burns & McDonnell India is looking for a candidate to join our Global Facilities Group in Mumbai office to lead and support electrical Engineering & design activities involved in Consumer & Life Solutions, Data Center, Food & Beverages, Aerospace and Industrial & Commercial projects mainly in USA. This candidate will support design, planning and client coordination activities associated with high, medium and low voltage electrical distribution and control systems found in Consumer & Life Solutions, Data Center, Food & Beverages, Aerospace and Industrial & Commercial projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
• 2 years of related electrical design experience
• Knowledge of electrical design principles, standards, and codes
• CAD, REVIT and Microsoft Office skills necessary to accomplish electrical design goals

Preferred Criteria

Consumer & Life Solutions facility experience and knowledge of critical facility electrical design

• Understanding of NFPA 70, 70E, 75, 101 and other applicable sections
• Ability to write specifications for electrical equipment, devices, and material
