Position Overview

The Electrical Engineer will support the Authority’s Engineer in supervising electrical works associated with the four‑laning of NH‑6 (Packages 7 & 8, Mizoram). The role requires expertise in highway electrical systems, compliance monitoring, and modern construction practices under EPC mode.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.

Experience in highway or infrastructure projects preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, signaling, and safety devices.
• Review and approve contractor’s electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with MoRTH standards, EPC contract conditions, and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections, verify material quality, and certify test results.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation of electrical works and approvals.

Coordinate with civil and survey teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.

• Preferrable knowledge of highway electrical systems (illumination, power supply, safety devices).
• Proficiency in electrical design software and testing equipment.
• Ability to manage contractors and ensure timely completion of electrical works.
