Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited in Jamnagar, Gujarat is seeking an Electrical Engineer to manage the operations and maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems and associated equipment.

You will ensure reliability, safety, and compliance, coordinating with maintenance teams and contractors, with 8-12 years of experience in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in Electrical Operations & Maintenance within industrial/manufacturing plants.
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, motors, MCCs, PCCs, DGs, and UPS systems.
• Experience in plant maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability enhancement.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices, PTW, LOTO, and relevant IEC/IS standards.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation and maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, DG sets, UPS, and power distribution networks.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability through preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize downtime.
• Monitor electrical safety compliance and adherence to statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams, and contractors for smooth plant functioning.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and electrical documentation.
• Support shutdown planning, execution, and reliability improvement initiatives.
