Job summary

Larsen & Toubro invites an experienced Electrical Engineer for Water Supply Projects. The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on experience in executing water infrastructure works such as WTPs, intake works and pump houses.

You will oversee electrical execution, coordinate with civil, mechanical and instrumentation teams, and support commissioning, testing and energization across project sites.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in water supply, WTP, pump house, or irrigation projects.
• 5–10 years of experience in execution of water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise electrical works for water supply projects.
• Install, test and commission HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, VFDs/soft starters, pumps, MCC/PCC panels, and SCADA systems.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and instrumentation teams.
• Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Perform quality control, safety compliance and maintain documentation.
• Prepare and verify BOQs, electrical drawings and progress reports.
• Liaise with utility authorities for power supply approvals and energization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during execution and commissioning.

Electrical Engineer – Water Supply Projects (5–10 Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in the execution of water infrastructure projects, including:

• Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
• Intake Works
• Pump Houses
• Raw Water Pumping Systems
• Clear Water Pumping Stations
• Water Supply and Distribution Projects

Preferred Location

Experience in projects executed in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Execution and supervision of electrical works for water supply projects.
• Installation, testing, and commissioning of:
• HT/LT panels
• Transformers
• DG sets
• VFDs/Soft starters
• Pumps and motors
• MCC/PCC panels
• SCADA and automation systems
• Coordination with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams.
• Monitoring contractor activities and ensuring adherence to project schedules.
• Quality control, safety compliance, and documentation.
