Job summary

Dandotiya Construction in Bhopal is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and oversee electrical systems for pumping stations, treatment plants, and sewerline projects. The role requires hands-on experience with motors, panels, transformers, and switchgear.

You will lead installation, testing, and preventive maintenance, coordinating with civil and mechanical teams for project execution. Knowledge of PWD/CPWD norms and safety standards is essential, with travel to project sites in

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech / M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply).
• Experience in water supply, sewerline, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of PWD/CPWD norms and municipal standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems for pumping stations, treatment plants, and sewerline projects.
• Supervise installation of motors, panels, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.
• Ensure proper wiring, cabling, and earthing for heavyduty equipment and underground utilities.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of pumps, motors, and electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and pipeline teams for seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with PWD/CPWD norms, municipal standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare BOQs, electrical drawings, and assist in tender documentation.
• Monitor site activities to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and energy efficiency.
• Train and guide technicians and site staff on electrical safety and operational procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Handson knowledge of pumping stations, treatment plants, motors, panels, transformers, and switchgear.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLC, SCADA, ETAP, MATLAB, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with PWD/CPWD norms, municipal standards, and tender documentation.
• Strong skills in site supervision, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to coordinate with civil, mechanical, and pipeline teams for project execution.
• Excellent problemsolving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites in Bhopal & Morena.
