Job description

• Design and review single line diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, and load calculations for new plant setups
• Manage procurement of electrical equipment: transformers, switchgear, VFDs, MCCs, DG sets, cables, and luminaries
• Oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning at plant sites
• Coordinate with Discom (DGVCL/UGVCL) for new connections, load enhancement, and meter installations
• Ensure compliance with CEA regulations, IS standards, and site-specific electrical safety norms
• Prepare and review electrical BOQs, cost estimates, and vendor comparisons
• Manage energy meters, SCADA/PLCs integration, and electrical automation systems
• Conduct periodic electrical audits and preventive maintenance at operational plants
• Maintain electrical drawings, inspection records, test reports, and as-built documentation
• Investigate and resolve electrical breakdown incidents; prepare root cause analysis reports
