Job summary

Universal Boschi is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical operations at a plant/industrial site. You will manage maintenance, troubleshoot HT/LT systems, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure reliable power distribution and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience in oxygen/industrial gas plants or similar industries, with hands-on expertise in gears, VFDs, transformers, and switchgear.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in oxygen plants, ASU, or similar process industries.
• Hands-on experience with HT/LT systems, motors, VFDs, transformers, switchgear and industrial electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the oxygen/industrial gas plant.
• Maintain and monitor HT/LT panels, transformers, MCCs, PCCs, switchgear, motors, VFDs, DG sets, and electrical distribution systems.
• Conduct preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure minimum plant downtime.
• Monitor electrical parameters, power consumption, and equipment performance.
• Plan and supervise electrical maintenance during plant shutdowns and major overhauls.
• Coordinate with Production, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Maintenance teams.
• Ensure proper maintenance of electrical protection, earthing, and safety systems.
• Maintain electrical records, logbooks, maintenance reports, and spare-parts requirements.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, HSE, PTW, LOTO, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers.
• Support energy-saving and reliability-improvement initiatives.

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in oxygen plants, ASU (Air Separation Units), industrial gas plants, steel plants, petrochemical plants, or similar process industries.
• Strong hands-on experience in HT/LT systems, motors, VFDs, transformers, switchgear, and industrial electrical maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting, planning, and team-management skills.

Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in Oxygen/ASU plants and large industrial rotating equipment will be preferred.
