Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain electrical and instrumentation documentation.
• Supervise site operators during installation and routine operations.
• Support calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure correct installation and testing of sensors and control panels.
• Assist in preparing electrical and instrumentation BOMs.
• Follow and enforce electrical safety standards at the site.
• Coordinate with other teams during site activities.

Role Summary

We’re looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (On-Site) to take ownership of electrical and instrumentation systems at Ossus Biorenewables’ project sites. This role focuses on installation, documentation, commissioning, maintenance, and operator supervision to ensure safe and reliable operation of hydrogen and bioreactor plants.

What You’ll Do

• Own and maintain electrical and instrumentation documentation including SLDs, P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, cable schedules, and datasheets.
• Supervise site operators during installation, calibration, testing, commissioning, and routine operations.
• Support calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments, panels, and electrical systems.
• Ensure correct installation and testing of sensors, transmitters, control panels, MCCs, and field cabling.
• Assist in preparing and validating electrical and instrumentation BOMs and coordinating with vendors.
• Follow and enforce electrical safety standards, SOPs, and LOTO procedures at the site.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, and automation teams during site activities.
• Provide regular updates and escalate technical issues when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic understanding of field instruments, panels, cabling, and control systems.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel across project locations.
• Ability to learn quickly and work closely with site operators and senior engineers.

Good to Have

• Exposure to hydrogen plants, bioreactors, or process industries.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and industrial communication networks.
