Job summary

Crescon Projects is seeking a Senior Electrical Draftsman in Chennai/Mumbai with hands-on AutoCAD experience for data centre and industrial projects.

The role involves preparing electrical drawings, GA diagrams, SLDs, lighting and power layouts, and coordinating with engineers and site teams to ensure accurate, compliant drawings and timely project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor in Electrical qualification preferred
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Electrical Draftsman experience
• Experience in Electrical drafting for data centre/industrial projects
• Ability to read electrical engineering drawings and IFC/shop drawings

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare electrical GA drawings, layouts, shop drawings and working drawings.
• Develop SLD and electrical layouts.
• Prepare drawings for lighting, power, cable tray, earthing and electrical systems.
• Prepare IFC and as-built electrical drawings.
• Incorporate design revisions and site modifications.
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Project Engineers and site teams.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.
• Support project execution with accurate electrical drawings.

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Senior Electrical Draftsman with strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD and electrical drafting for Data Centre and Industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare electrical GA drawings, layouts, shop drawings and working drawings.
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical layouts.
• Prepare drawings for lighting, power, cable tray, earthing and electrical systems.
• Prepare IFC and as-built electrical drawings.
• Incorporate design revisions and site modifications.
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Project Engineers and site teams.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.
• Support project execution with accurate electrical drawings.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of Electrical drafting and layouts.
• Experience in Data Centre / Industrial projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of SLD, lighting, power distribution, cable tray, earthing and electrical layouts.
• Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of IFC, shop drawings and as-built drawings.

Eligibility:

• Diploma / Bachelor / relevant Electrical qualification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Electrical Draftsman experience.
• Candidates should have experience specifically in Electrical drafting.

Important:

Only Electrical Draftsman profiles will be considered. MEP / Mechanical / Civil Draftsman profiles are not required.
